Hello, I'm Mardiya Siba Yahaya, a generalist, feminist researcher, education technology strategist, and learning designer.
My work as a feminist, writer and digital development consultant focuses on the study of digital technology from gender, development and governance perspectives. I am currently investigating surveillance in the Muslim community and its influence on Muslim women’s digital participation. For the past 2 years, I have worked in the education sector specifically on curriculum design and education technology. My mission is to promote grassroots feminist development, hence leading the strategic expansion of hospitality training in Rwanda through sustainable and accessible ed-tech systems with one of the leading Hotel and Tourism Business Schools in the world - Vatel.
